Today I go jogging in the morning and go to the university of Hawaii. That's very huge. You know what uncle Harvey?
I think I wanna study there! Oh, I've just realized that why do you always want me to go to the university here. It's great.
I see it. But I don't know about the society here. As I can see, I think that students here are separated, it's really different from BKK.
Everyone has to stand by himself. I have to learn how to live by myself. I think it's gonna be real hard for me at the first couple of months
here. But that's the way American people are. I have a lot of things to learn about the world.
Anyway I get some information there, too. I found that my speaking skill is the most difficult for me here.
Like today, I had to ask for the information at the information center and that girl told me to go to another building
and I go there to ask again, and found that my speaking is poor. I really need to improve it real quick.
I don't know, I don't like when people make the "What r u talking about?" face.
And I go to YMCA to ask about the information for attending the class like kickboxing, hiphop dance, yoga and hula dance and they say that I can try 2 classes
for free. If I wanna continue it, I have to be a member and pay per month. I'll go and try them first, and I'll see
if I wanna continue or not.
And you know what! I just get lost on the way back home. It's crazy. At that time I was already tired and I had to try to find
the way back home. The sun was very strong. I got burnt. There are a lot of houses around here and they are
all look the same! But anyway, I'm home! Haha, yeah finally I find it. Actually, I wanna go to safeway (a supermarket)
but I was tired and I just don't know the way to it and I don't wanna ask people around the university because they all seem
like they are in a hurry to on time in classes ( and I think they are not so friendly to ask, I think the teenagers are harder
to start the conversation with than adults here, I don't know, I've just been here for 5 days, I've just talked with some middle-
aged and old people.) So I just go back home.
I have a veggie sandwich like Wanee for lunch. It's great! Yeah, I've thought that "what! how can a veggie
sandwich be yummy? But I found it GREAT!" Wanee made it for me. At first time I gonna eat a sandwich here, Wanee
asked me "Do you want a whole one or just a half one?" and I answered " the whole one." And guess what, I can't
finish it all, cause it's too much for me, Haha so this time i say just half one for me. But I also have a Teddy's
Hamburger, which Ivan bought for me when we went to the Honolulu zoo yesterday, left in the fridge. You know,
everything here is very very very big. That's the smallest one of Teddy's but it's still too big for me. That's why
I couldn't finish it off. So I eat the left of it today.
Then, at 1 pm Wanee took me to the volunteer service center, named Arbiternarium or something, I can't remember it.
It's on the hills. It's like a natural path. I fill up the application form to be a volunteer there. I think I'll do things
like making the jams and jellys to sell at its gift shop, which Wanee recommends me to do this, or making leis
( lei is a wreath or flower necklace) I think it's good to know how to make a Hawaiian thing. Oh, I've learned a lot of
Hawaiian words already. That's cool, isn't it? I read the Wanee's book about Hawaii. It's pretty good. It made me know
a lot better about Hawaii. I think Hawaii is very interesting, I wanna stay here forever!!! Haha.
And in the evening, I go to join the Hula dance class!!! Wow, sounds good ha?
Wanee takes this class every Monday and she always brings Elia with her. Wanee has to hold Elia while she's
dancing. It's amazing that she can do such those two things at the same time.
It's pretty good. I quite like it. I look up to Wanee very much. I think she is the best in the class. I like the way
she moves, she can dance fluidly, her hips, her hands ,oh everything, perfect. And she's the slimmest, the others
are fat people. Wanee gonna pay me for the Hula dance class. We'll have to join the show, too. I'm very excited.
I'm just a visitor here, but I gonna be a hula dancer on the stage on Spring Day, da kind of special day of Hawaii!! You know, it's great!.
That's all what happened today. I gonna go to bed right now.
